What is the Natural Heritage Trust?
The Natural Heritage Trust (the Trust) was set up by the Australian Government in 1997 to help restore and conserve Australia's environment and natural resources. Thousands of community groups and organisations have received funding through the Trust for environmental and natural resource management projects.
The Trust provides funding for environmental activities at a community level (through the Australian Government Envirofund), a regional level, and a national and state level.
