Round 8 Envirofund projects
Round 8 was launched on 23 February 2006 and closed on 28 April 2006. It attracted 1,922 applications - a record number for a regular round of the Envirofund - seeking $38 million dollars. The available funding is $20 million.
Community based State assessment panels assessed the applications and made recommendations to Ministers. Successful projects were announced by Ministers on 6 October 2006.
